HISS**BOO**Sticking out tongue!!!!
I've had my first gain since re-starting on January 29. It's taken me 24 hours to put it in the weight tracker and fess up to it here. CAN YOU TELL I'M NOT HAPPY??
I expected it. I took it calmly. I feel confident that it won't derail me. But I hate blotting my perfect record, even though I know it had to happen sometime.
I was away for a week, staying in a home where all food is dripping with oil and smothered with cheese. And there's pasta at every single dinner.
The best thing about the gain was my immediate thought of "But I'll lose it again, probably in one week." The old me would probably have given up, but that's not who I am any more.
So, I'm home again.
I'm in charge of meals.
I'm off to the gym right now.
(But I'm still a weeny bit grumpy about it!!)

You're not alone. Had my first gain this week too. Sucks! But same as you my attitude was, that wont be there next week! Oho no!
ReplyDeleteLove your new piccies on the side there! looking fabby!
like you said youll lose it this week! no probs! keep it going! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Deb!
ReplyDeleteYep, you're right! It DOES happen from time to time and though we aren't happy with it, we now know how to move on without letting it get us down to the extent that we throw it all in and go back to being HUGE (and miserable) again!
Next week expect a great loss so long as you stay truly focused this week! I know you will do it!
All the very best - Gae oxoxo
you can loose it deb!! channel the crankiness & use it to your advantage!!
ReplyDeleteHey there Deb! Thanks for your post!!! I know how you feel.....I really do.....I am counting down the days when school finishes for the summer...I feel like I have no control at the moment....reports, assessments, end of year stuff....I am thinking that if I hold out till school ends I can start again...but that is the wrong frame of mind...cause life happens huh??? So I will keep on...even a small loss is better than nothing!!!
ReplyDeleteSo lets stay focused together....lets do what we need to do...and we will be ok!!
Hang in there mate...hang in there!
