The maid is doing the cooking!!

I have a challenging week ahead because I'm not home, and not cooking my own meals all week. I'm babysitting a family for the week, even though there's a full-time maid here. She'll do all the cooking, washing, ironing, bed-making etc (I bet you're wondering how the hell such a week could be "challenging"???) Of course, it's like a paid holiday in many respects, but I don't have control over the food and I don't have my beloved cross trainer here. I can't walk a lot due to tendon problems in my foot. I think I might get in the deep end of their pool later and try some aqua jogging.
Thankfully, they're nice kids who get homework done without moaning etc.
So, I'll have to be careful with the food. I've already seen the week's menu so will save points accordingly and ask for no dressing on the caesar salad etc. I know there will be pasta at EVERY dinner. I will have to avoid it.
Anyone feeling sorry for me yet?? Didn't think so. But I seriously do not want this to be my first week of gaining weight.

Ahhhh... who knew that life with a maid could be so tough!!

  1. The pool sounds like a great option. And if all else fails, small portions, then top with with fruit and veg.

    Good luck!

  2. Hello Deb!

Yes, I agree with Lucy! Just keep to small portions, stay away from anything sweet or fatty and just do your very best!

Touching toes and sit-ups along with some exercise in the pool should help you also!

    Hang in there! Gae oxoxxo
