A great day

Had a great day today. Did Week 6, Day 3 of C25K on the crosstrainer. I had to walk 5 mins, jog 25, walk 5. Was dreading it, didn't believe I could do it but... I DID IT!! It left me feeling buzzy all day. When I started this programme I thought I was going to die. I did Week 1 for 4 weeks and Week 2 for 3 weeks. I did Weeks 3 and 4 more than once too. But, now that I recognize my improved fitness, I've gone straight through Weeks 5 and 6 without repeating.
When I went to my gynae check he was happy with my general health, blood pressure etc and said, "Is your weight static? " I grinned and said, "No. Look back to the weight on my chart when you saw me 2 years ago." His eyes nearly popped out of his head when he said, "You're more than 16 kg lighter??" 

Only ate a banana before exercising this morning, so I was ravenous by the time I met my friend in town for lunch. Had a yummo steak sandwich and drank water rather than wine as I used to have at that restaurant. Tonight we had Sweet Potato Soup (3 pts) that my husband made while I was out galivanting in town. Lucky huh?

  3. That's brilliant! Does the cross trainer tell you how many km's you have done in the 30 minutes?
