20:20:20 update

On April 28 I decided to join Lucy in her quest to lose 20kg in 20 weeks. I was 120.5kg back then.
Today I am 117.8 so I've lost 2.7kg in 5 weeks. Not doing the 1 kilo per week, but still very happy with the results. During that time I was away from home for 2 weeks, which put definite dents in my weight loss capability!
But.... while on the theme of  "20" I'm delighted to announce that I have now lost 20.2kg. I know how heavy my suitcase is when I fly home to NZ, and it's usually around 20kg. It's boggles my mind that I have dropped that amount off my body.
Next goal: 15% loss should be happening in a couple of weeks.
Longer goal: under 100kg by New Year's Eve. Surely I can do that!!

  1. Hello Deb!

You'll blitz 17.8 kilos by the New Year I'm sure!

Look how well you've done so far! Look at the difference in your face now compared to your Before photo!

You look 10 years younger! At this rate you'll look like your own daughter by the time you get to goal - hehehe!

Keep up the great work! Gae oxoxox

  6. Deb,

This is wonderful news! Congrats on your brilliant loss to date! I'm sure you can get to double digits by NYE 2010! I'm actually aiming for that myself but it would require losses of about 4kgs each month until the end of the year! So we shall see.

Just imagine the shock of your colleagues when you go back to work in a couple of months! With all that time to exercise and eat right, I'm sure you'll be looking even more wonderful!

    All the best
    Kase xo
